I really got no idea why they are called employment agencies.
They always have this habit of smsing the employees needed to report for work. So this employee of the agency smsed me saying that I'm working later, on the 11th June for Novena Square at 10.30am. But my june roster states that i'm only working on the 9th for vivocity, 10th for cathay and 12th for novena square. nothing was mentioned about 11th june that i need to report for work. Thus, i smsed the employee and said, RASA: Sorry, i dun have any slots on the 11th. Employee: No. I didn't. You are working morning shift for Novena tomorrow. RASA: Did you see the next week wed slot of mine? i'm only working on the 9th, 10th and 12th for adidas. cos im working morning shift for Novena only next week. Employee: It is recorded in my roster. You are replacing xxx tmr. RASA: But you guys didn't mention anything about this replacement to me? Employee: We have informed you on the 27th May. Please check. RASA: Through wad? I should have replied! But i didn't receive anything? Employee: It's recorded in my amended roster that you've been informed. There's no point saying all these. If you can't work, just say. RASA: I'm sure I din receive wad u so called amended roster on the 27th May. I only have e one Khing sent us on e 25th May. Please get ur tone right. Then, she didn't reply me anymore. So what is this? Everything ended ridiculously. I din even receive anything about amended roster. Huili didn't too. So i guess im not working tmr? Because everytime there's no words of confirmation from them. It's really ridiculous. I did mention that im working on the 10th June which is just now right.. But they cancelled my slot today at 11 plus in the morning telling me that i wun be working. So no choice, I went out to enjoy myself instead. So now that im online, this full time staff of adidas at cathay talked to me, and our conversation starts, Staff: So you working next tuesday? RASA: Yeah. I'm supposed to work today (10 June) too, but they cancel my slot last minute. Staff: Actually not really last minute la.. I saw the thing quite early le.. think they never inform you or wad.. RASA: Wad thing? Staff: Your roster being changed over at Cathay. RASA: Really? How early was that? Staff: Err.. about 3 days ago bah. I seriously think they have the right to inform me later and not at the last minute when I'm already preparing myself, packing my bag for work. All i can say is, I'm going to leave the job after my so-called contract (which i didn't sign, and no one bother to collect it from me) ends.. This is partially because I dun like the long standing hours, but mostly becos i realised i can't work with people in the employment agency with this kind of attitude. this is why I'm totally fed up. think in my shoes.. how would u feel if u were me. i'm sure you will feel the same. tata~ spoil the whole 2 weeks break of mine. |
